 3 hours On this tour we start riding from our shop through Naxos city in the direction of Temple of Dionysos, at Yria archeological site. We ride through fields full of potatoes an other agricultural products to find the well hidden temple of Dionysos. After that we continue to cycle for about 30’ to find our self’s on top of the village Agios Arsenios one of the biggest villages of Naxos we take a look at the Greek Orthodox church of Agios Spyridon. It is time to take a break, catch our breath and hydrate, to continue in the direction of Plaka beach. The route will be full of fields with animals and crops as Naxos island is one of the biggest producers of agricultural products in Cyclades, after a few kilometers you can start to smell the sea and the salty wind as we approach the beach. Once we are there the sun that reflects on the sand can be felt on the skin, the scenery has changed the only thing you can see is sandy shores where the eye can reach. We will be riding until Prokopios beach where we head back on the main road to return to the city, the road is long and quite windy as we are exposed to the north winds that blow in the hot Greek summers, after a few kilometers we enter the city of Naxos where we cruise around until we reach back to Naxos Bikes.
